Today was the first official snow day of the 2006-2007 school year. Pretty weak, actually, since there wasn't much accumulation. It never even occurred to me to listen to the (yucky, country) radio station to check for school closings. But when we got to the school, it was obvious the school was closed.
By noon, the snow was completely gone. Will they call off school tomorrow? Why not! It's probably snowing somewhere. Besides, why ruin a perfectly good week with one day of school?

- I am a fourty-something who used to work full time, went back to college, graduated, and now I'm a part-time substitute teacher, trying to raise two kids (13 and 8), and married over 15 years to my high-school sweetheart.
